About Us
Welcome to BedBugs.org β the webβs #1 resource for bed bug information. My name is Ryan & I created this site after our family had a nasty bout with bed bugs. I had tried everything to get rid of them and thankfully we haven’t had any issues over the past 3 years.
If you would like to get in touch, please use the below comment form. Alternatively, you can email us at help@ (our siteβs URL). Our mailing address is as follows.

I was wondering if this domain is for sale…

Response: Thanks for the offer Sol, but we built this site to help people out and have no interest in selling it.
Hi Ryan – you have a great website! I was wondering whether you would consider linking to my own fledgling bed bug website at bedbugsbiteme.com
The site is trying to collect personal stories from bed bug sufferers in order to swap advice and share tips etc.
Alternatively, I wonder if you would consider selling your bedbugs.org website? If so let me know what kind of price you would be hoping for and we can discuss it.
I hope to hear from you, and thanks again for your great site. Best wishes,
Sophie

Response: best of luck with your new website Sophie. Feel free to let us know when you have linked to our site as well.
That is a really nice infographic you put together! Im in the bed bug prevention industry and wanted to talk about linking with your site and a potential revenue share. Can we chat? Thanks
Sure you can feel free to link to our site, but I would need to know more about whatever business ideas you had.
Your web site was brought to my attention by a very dedicated fourth grade teacher. One of her students used one of our web pages as well as yours for an assignment. They would like very much for me to create a link to your page and, with your permission, I would love to do just that. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you!

Response: Thanks for the offer & for linking to our site Jeanne. π
Hi,
I am interested in advertising on bedbugs.org.For each person who requests free price quotes for bed bug pest control from your website, you will receive up to $50 depending on the category. You are paid as long as we can send the request out to our clients β not when (and if) the buyer ultimately makes a purchase decision. You can promote our offer through either an iframe, host/post, banner, or text ad.
I am interested in advertising on bedbugs.org. We are looking for affiliates who can match quality content with our pest control category. Here is an example of a current publisher: bedbugtreatmentsite.com/compare-bed-bug-exterminator-prices/
Iβd like to hear your thoughts about working together and would be happy to explain the program in more detail.

Hi Sarah
Given the cost of professional treatment often runs well above $2,000, the idea of potentially getting $20 isn’t particularly compelling. We are fine with offering DIY advice on our website so people can seek more affordable solutions to bed bug problems & then if those attempts fail they can seek a local professional with good ratings and reviews rather than whoever they are matched up with from an affiliate network. If I change my view on this front I will sign up with your site. Thanks for the comment. π
Hello,
I am a licensed pest control professional looking to put a web site up for pest control services. Please let me know if I can use content you have on your site and link you to our page. It would be very helpful to me.
Thank you,

Our content is copyright protected. You certainly may link to us or reference our work or use the content appropriately via fair use, but we don’t offer blanket permission to copy our content onto other sites in bulk because that devalues the content & we also don’t know how people will use the content. For example, people could use the content and then wrap it in ads for shady products or such & there is no way we would want to support something like that.
This is a great site!!
I just discovered bedbugs in my bed October 18, 2015 four weeks after finally realizing the ‘hives’ I thought I had developed from stress over the previous four weeks were in fact, bites.
My exterminator has a sniffer dog, but my level of ‘infestation’ is so low he did not bring the dog in (2 on a scale of 10). Spraying (1 per week x 4) and dusting, plus massive amount of running clothes through the hot dryer for 30 minutes plus some dry cleaning and he is very confident all will be well.
Thank you for putting this site together. VERY informative. I hate that I have to know this stuff BUT so glad your site (and others) are out there.

Are the images on your site free to use without copyright or licensing fees? Please reply to my email as soon as possible. Thank you!
Hi Shawna
The images are copyright. Some of them we bought the rights to outright from users of our site, but some of them came from stock sites. Thus we can’t effectively grant rights to download and reupload them. However you can link to any of them & the linking code feature works on that page for embedding the references.
I’m trying to find out about a company in Chicago that is hiring southside of Chicago hiring dog bed bug detection and what are the requirements
I have a question that I hope you can answer, Does an apartment rented by a tobacco smoker effect the ability of the dog to sniff out bed bugs?
Don’t know if this in your wheelhouse but you have an obvious extensive knowledge of this infestation. I have commercial bedbug extermination equipment for sale. Do you know any sources or potential buyers? Thanks for your time.
What kind of equipment are you selling?
Ryan, I Have Several Important Question …Can We Please Talk On The Phone? Can You Provide Me With A Phone Number And The Best Time To Reach/Call You. Cheers Drabo. B-}
P.S. I’m In California.
The best way to contact us is via the comments on our site. I generally don’t set up phone calls with strangers, especially if they don’t state what they want to talk about in advance other than telling me there are unspecified important questions.
please can you just put reference?
We cite many sources and link to many references throughout our website. I am not sure what you are asking for?
Hi, Ryan
I have a site that i would like to advertise through a banner ad on this site. Its exactly in this niche. If you are interested i emailed you at help@bedbugs.org but i don’t know if you got my email. I think it would be good for both of us if we could advertise directly instead of through CPC networks. Email me back to let me know.
Thanks,
Travis
